The concert is the ideal going on of the collaboration between Italian Icarus Ensamble and the national Croatian ensamble Ensemble Cantus of Zagreb, who started working together in 2003 under the name of Icarus/Cantus Ensemble.
Amongst the main events the two ensambles attended to, the International Cervantino Festival in Mexico, the Huddesfield Contemporary Music Festival in United Kingdom, Milano Musica in Italy, the Biennial Festival of Contemporary Music of Zagreb.
The concert is programmed within the Cantus festival of Zagreb.

Icarus Ensemble was founded in 1994 in Reggio Emilia. Internationally renowned group in the field of contemporary music, was reported particularly in musical theater.
Since its foundation has been active in Asia, America, Africa as well as in Europe and has participated in several first performances of the greatest composers. Among the collaborations with major international ensembles, those with Cantus Ensemble of Zagreb, Neuevocalsolisten of Stuttgart, Neue Ensemble of Amsterdam and 10/10 of Liverpool.
