Journalist, cartoonist and writer, Giovannino Guareschi (Fontanelle di Roccabianca-Parma, 1908 - Cervia-Ravenna, 1968) is the author of the famous series of novels about the rivalry between Don Camillo, the priest, and Peppone, the communist mayor of the village, set in the "Little World" of a Po River Valley town.
