"Science in the kitchen and the art of eating well"

Conventions/Seminars/Meetings

Story of a book similar to Cinderella's
Marguerite Pozzoli will evoke the atypical route of a cookery book that, after having being published at the expense of the author in 1891, became more and more successful at national and international level, getting richer of innumerable recipes an edition after the other, so turning to a testimony not only culinary but also historical, sociological and linguistic of the history of Italy.

Marguerite Pozzoli is professor of Modern French Literature and director of the series “Lettres italiennes” by Actes Sud publishing house.
The meeting is organized thanks to the twinning between Villeneuve-Loubet –birthplace of Auguste Escoffier- and Forlimpopoli –birthplace of Pellegrino Artusi.
