Giordano Passini is one of the most talented guitarist of his generation. Born in Bologna in 1986, he started studying music at the age of 12. After the degree at the Conservatory in 2011, he attended specialization masters and participated in many masterclasses with important international guitar players, such as Ricardo Gallén, Roland Dyens, Carlos Barbosa Lima, Walter Zanetti. He has held concerts in various festival and musical events in Italy and abroad and has won several prizes in national and international competitions.
Since 2009 he is the artistic director of the International Classical Guitar festival “Claxica”, that in few editions has become a landmark in the Italian guitar landscape, hosting guitarists from all over the world.
He plays a guitar made by the Neapolitan guitar maker Alessandro Marseglia.
