OPENCALL#43: the Unidad de vinculacion artistica of the University Cultural Centre Tlatelolco guests the opening conference (october 24) and the theatre workshop (october 25-28), part of the international project MEGALOPOLIS.

The workshop will be not only an occasion for working on the project but also an opportunity to share a “Global Action” (“Acción Global”), a performing action, a political act aiming to join the numerous performances by artists, students and citizens all over the world to react to the forced disappearence of the 43 Mexican students in Ayotzinapa on 26th September 2014.

The 43 participants will be introduced to the themes of the project and will develop a series of physical actions in order to create a final performance. The participants will work with the company’s founders Nicola Pianzola and Anna Dora Dorno on physical, rhythmic and vocal training, on space dynamics and on the relationship between body–space and urban areas, on the building of individual and choral physical actions based on the relationship chorus–person, mass–individual.
