Ritual has been recognized by international critics as a universal work that can speak to a cross-cultural audience thanks to its multidisciplinary and innovative approach, which contemplates a plurality of languages: photography, video projections, installations, hand, text and physical action. It is a tribute to the Italian rich cultural tradition and at the same time an innovative example of reworking and updating of this culture.
The performance is the result of a long research and training funded by the European Union, whose stages have been developed in different countries of the world, promoting intercultural dialogue and especially emphasizing and promoting the rich traditional Italian heritage from which the work starts.
Ritual is based on an innovative working process that starts from the study of the traditions of a country and its historical memory, with the aim to actualize the elements performative through the languages of contemporary theater.
