Advance event on the occasion of the First Week of Italian Cuisine in the World
Professor Paolo Fabbri, famous Italian semiologist, talks about the “practical manual” by Pellegrino Artusi “Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well”, illustrating its importance also from the point of view of the semiotic interpretation.

At 1:00pm, opening of the panel exhibition “Pellegrino Artusi and the Italian unity in the kitchen”, organized by Emilia-Romagna Region Department for Culture, Casa Artusi and Municipality of Forlimpopoli.
The exhibition illustrates Pellegrino Artusi’s life and work and the genesis of his renowned book.
