Italy shares with France the same passion for wine and food.
From Luchino Visconti (Obsession, 1943) to Paolo Virzi (Human Capital, 2014), from Maria Sola Tognazzi (Io e lei, 2015) to Ettore Scola (La terrazza, 1980), Italian screens overflow with scenes of meals, symbols of cordiality and conviviality but also of quarrel.
The exhibition «Italian cinema between table and kitchen» aims at illustrating this case.
On the menu: forty b/w or colour pictures of actresses, actors, directors caught in the act of greediness by some of the best still photographers -yesterday’s ones, as Paul Ronald and Divo Cavicchioli, and today’s, selected by Cliciak, the national contest for still photographers organized by the Centro Cinema Città di Cesena.
A retrospetcive we shall devour with our eyes without moderation!
