“INVINCIBLE! 17th-Century Italian Nuns Sing Of Virgins And Martyrs”

From April 17 to May 1, Cappella Artemisia, a female ensemble from Bologna of voices and instruments specializing for over 25 years in early music from Italian convents, performs in the United States with a program entitled “INVINCIBLE! 17th-Century Italian Nuns Sing Of Virgins And Martyrs”.
The concert presents works composed by and for cloistered Italian nuns and dedicated to the great women of the Church.
Four musicians from Italy are joined by two Americans for a tour of concerts which will take them to Rhode Island, Oregon, California, Indiana and Pennsylvania.
