Co-founder of the Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio theatre company –now Societas- together with Romeo Castellucci and Chiara Guidi, Claudia Castellucci is choreographer, director, actress, researcher and also author of some recent works staged by the Societas under the direction of Romeo Castellucci.
She is guest of the Cena Brasil Internacional 2017 presenting the workshop for dancers "Towards the species" (31 May-9 June), whose result will be presented in the homonymous performance on 9, 10 and 11 June.

Rhythm, for Claudia Castellucci, has been the cornerstone of the teaching, has always distinguished her work as an artist in the schools she has created –whether the long-standing one in her own city, Cesena, or the shorter ones, in other cities– with the invention of rhythmic models that can be referred to both physical movement and theoretical reflection. Towards the species is a dance that has been formed during the long-standing course held in Cesena and it is now being delivered to another company of dancers with the task of making it translucent. The study is being exported to other cities, with brief local schools directed by Claudia Castellucci.
