“Between Mother and Earth” is a plunge in the pulsating origins of existence.
“Both are life generators, the Mother -who is female- and the Earth -who is Mother- are one thing, the same thing. We human beings are its colour, flesh of its flesh, its roots”, the artist explains. “Everything which emerges from the Earth will return to it in an eternal journey, never the same. If we recognize and respect the Earth, we can understand the marvel behind this reality”.
Estimated art historian and professor Philippe Daverio has defined Federica Rossi as a constantly evolving artist, so that today she has reached a gesture which is not only formal but also “shamanic”. He wrote about her: “her gesture knows how to perceive the origins of the created world and is able to physically pass from primordial magma to the original genesis of life”.

Federica Rossi is born in Parma in 1972. Since the beginning of her artistic path, she has collaborated with important exponents of the artistic world and since 2006 she has taken part in collective and personal ex-hibitions at national and international level. At present her works are housed both in private and public collections.
