Specialized since its inception in photochemical film restoration, in recent years the Cineteca di Bologna has broadened its range to include digital technology. Thanks to it, the films gain a splendor and a visual sharpness never obtained before. Classic movies can so come back to movie theatres, where the shared vision is able to retrieve the authentic beauty of the vision and the disruptive emotion the big screen can give.
On the occasion of the 10th edition of di Dolce Vitaj, the Cineteca presents:
THE EASY LIFE (Il Sorpasso) by Dino Risi, 1962, starring Vittorio Gassmann and Jean-Louis Trintignant (on 6th June)
MARRIAGE ITALIAN-STYLE (Matrimonio all'italiana) by Vittorio De Sica, 1964, starring Sofia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni (10th June)
THE CONFORMIST (Il Conformista) by Bernardo Bertolucci, 1970, starring Jean-Louis Trintignant and Stefania Sandrelli (on 13th th June)
LA DOLCE VITA by Federico Fellini, 1960, starring Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg (on 22nd June)
