Lucy Harmon, a nineteen-year-old American, is sent by her father -after the suicide of his wife- in Tuscany, in a couple of friends’ house in the hills around Siena. The house is a sort of commune guesting a heterogeneous group of artists and aesthetics. Lucy will upset the community’s quiet life but her long staying in Tuscany is a sort of initiatory path which will transform her from adolescent to woman.
