“Pavarotti Forever”

Music

10th anniversary tribute
Luciano Pavarotti was one of the most loved legendary artists, enthralling audiences throughout the world in the latter half of the twentieth century. His long career took him to the world’s most prestigious opera houses and theatres, and his constant activity and dedication made him the undisputed ambassador of “bel canto” and Italian culture on the world stage. With his artistic and media skills and indefatigable passion for music, he managed to change the face of opera. For over forty years he attracted an ever-wider public that was totally new to opera.
It has been ten years since the famous singer has passed away, but the memory of him continues to live on in the hearts of listeners and musicians.

The memory of “Celeste Luciano” will be entrusted to famous arias from his repertoire by Verdi and Rossini, and to a very special group of four artists:
the flautist Andrea Griminelli, one of Luciano’s “Friends”, who played with Pavarotti at the remarkable Madison Square Garden concert in New York at the tender age of twenty-five which then led to a collaboration of more than two hundred concerts;
the pianist Paolo Andreoli, who accompanied Luciano during his lessons with his beloved students and still continues his relationship with the Foundation;
the soprano Claudia Sasso and the tenor Jenish Ysmanov, two highly talented students who are already making a name for themselves on the international stage.
