The third edition of the international exhibition on the Italian panorama of children’s illustrations is part of the 2022 Italy-China Year of Culture and Tourism initiatives. From May to October, it will be on display in various districts of the city of Guangzhou in different sections of the Guangzhou Library, one of the most important in China.
ROSSINI FLAMBÉ is a show for young and old that tells of Italy and its flavours and sounds, which unravels the passion for life and its pleasures as a characteristic trait of the Italian culture. It is the story of a quest for happiness and conviviality, a hymn to love and taste, to good food and the pleasure of sitting together around a big table.
A dystopian future which is alarmingly similar to our present. A 70 years-old woman who went through the Age of the Great Contagions and the long period of Faunal-Health Reorganization has to confront the reality of a new world, modern, cruel, hardened, dark and merciless. The exhibition is presented by the Italian Cultural Institute in Shanghai and the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai as part of the 2022 Italy-China Year of Culture and Tourism
