In August, Teatrino Giullare is in the USA on a tour titled “
Commedianti o l'arte di (r)esistere” (Comedians or the art of existing (resisting), which will take Giulia Dall'Ongaro and Enrico Deotti in Brookline (Boston), Montauk (NY) and San Francisco.
In the first stop in Brookline, Teatrino Giullare is at the Puppet Showplace Theater to lead a workshop on the “artificial actors” and contemporary drama.
"Actors/Doubles/Masks" is a crash workshop on the role of masks -“doubles”- and other "artificial actors" -puppets-, in contemporary drama and puppet theater.
A reflection on the rhythms, the artificial actors‘ vital and linguistic needs, the relationship between visual dynamism and word and between actor and object, the control of gesture, staging emotions through the use of masks, prosthesis and other communicative variations.
