Sarabande | Domus Aurea
Bach Project is an important step in exploring the relationship between dance and music, between classical composition and its contemporary re-creation.
The evening opens with a masterpiece by Jirí Kylia´n, Sarabande, inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach’s music. It is a creation with a fascinating circular structure that highlights its extraordinarily contemporary nature.
Follows Domus Aurea by the young Italian talent Diego Tortelli, also inspired by Bach's music, who ventures into a dreamlike world and into the meanders of the human mind, investigating the concepts of construction, subsidence, destruction, rebirth.
