To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the "Illustrators Exhibition" held in 2016, Bologna Children's Book Fair organized the exhibition
Artists and masterpieces of illustration - 50 Illustrators Exhibitions 1967 -2016, which included the original works of
50 illustrators from among the most important in the world who have been included in this annual Exhibition and part of its history.
Fifty illustrators with their unforgettable books, great classics that have had an effect on the reading lives of children. Fifty big names for fifty great stories, because illustration is born and lives in the stories it tells.
The exhibition is here presented with the title A Ilustração Como Porta Para O Mundo. On exhibit, also the works by 5 Brazilian artists, to depict the different styles characterizing the tendencies of contemporary illustration in Brazil.
