Cinema

The CINéTICO Project has arisen from the collaboration between IMD – Instituto Multimedia DerHumALC (Derechos Humanos en América Latina y el Caribe) in Buenos Aires and SMK Videofactory in Bologna.
From September 23rd to October 4th, 2019, Progetto CINéTICO promotes the creation of creative relations between Buenos Aires and Emilia-Romagna, offering visibility to Italian young directors in Argentina. Screenings, workshops and meetings will be held in various Argentinean cities to create a network of authors interested in innovative ways of film production and distribution.

The project arrives in Santiago del Estero, with the screening of The Harvest by Andrea Paco Mariani, who will attend.

Synopsis
Gurwinder comes from Punjab, he's been working for years as a farm hand in Agro Pontino, not far from Rome. Hardeep, born and raised in Italy, is trying to free herself from the memories of a family that emigrated in another age, while he is forced, against his faith, to take doping to bear the heavy work pace, to be able to send money to his family in India. A tough work of seeding, day after day, whose deserved harvest, between residence permits to be renewed and fake pay checks, still appears very far.
