Cinema

The CINéTICO Project has arisen from the collaboration between IMD – Instituto Multimedia DerHumALC (Derechos Humanos en América Latina y el Caribe) in Buenos Aires and SMK Videofactory in Bologna.
From September 23rd to October 4th, 2019, Progetto CINéTICO promotes the creation of creative relations between Buenos Aires and Emilia-Romagna, offering visibility to Italian young directors in Argentina. Screenings, workshops and meetings will be held in various Argentinean cities to create a network of authors interested in innovative ways of film production and distribution.
The project proposes for the first time in Argentina the screening of È stato morto un ragazzo by Filippo Vendemmiati, journalist and director from Emilia.

Synopsis
Federico Aldrovandi has just turned eighteen when, at dawn on 25 September 2005, he met a police patrol near the racecourse in Ferrara. A few hours later, the family learns of his death. Between these two moments there were many questions and many silences: the human and judicial events linked to his death.
The film, presented at the 67th Venice International Film Festival in 2010, won the David di Donatello as best documentary in 2011.

The event is organized as part of the FINCADH - Festival Internacional de Cine Ambiental y Derechos Humanos, which enjoys the patronage of the Secretariat for Human Rights of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Santiago del Estero.
