AMOUR AMOR tells the resurrection of Paul/Bradipo - the lazy in Italian - our hero.
After the death of his grandparents, famous chefs, Bradipo, orphan of both parents, must inherit the family restaurant, but depression and lack of taste make him doubt. On the other hand, it was promised to Carmina, the assistant chef, that she would inherit it... Throughout the show, Bradipo will see his senses awaken thanks to the love Olga, his neighbour, has for him and that ends up being mutual.
A festive tale, punctuated by realist-style love serenades, operettas and euphoric rumbles performed by a quartet of kitchen helpers. Amour Amor is set on a double-screw staircase that reserves surprises and phantasmagoria. It is the story of a search for happiness. It is a hymn to love and taste, to cooks and fine food.

Amour Amor is a French-Italian co-production born in September 2020 from the willing of Teatro Due Mondi and Compagnie du Hasard to create together a show in which the forces and specificities of the two companies could join. Since Teatro Due Mondi is an Italian company based in Faenza, in an area of agricultural and viticultural production, and since Compagnie du Hasard is a French company based in Feings, in the region of Loir et Cher which is an area of agricultural and viticultural production, and because we love to eat and drink, we wanted to create a show telling about the fundamental thing taste is.
We wanted to put into it what characterizes us. One of the specific features of the Compagnie du Hasard is the writing by Bruno Cadillon. His texts and scenarios tell stories for everyone always including elements of comedy. One of the specific features of Teatro Due Mondi is the collaboration with the composer and choir director Antonella Talomonti, who composes and/or adapts the pieces for each of the shows created by the company.
So, Amour Amor is written by Bruno Cadillon, set to music by Antonella Talamonti, and nourished by each artist’s creativity: actors, costume designers, dramatists, directors, stage designers.
