“Ceasing of will and the undoing of the concept of subject are at the base of this work.
The rhythmical and dynamic quality of action is defined through the relationship with other bodies and the external environment. It is an action linked to time, rhythm and articular fragility, determined by surrendering to the other, rather than to oneself.
Dance becomes an act of learning and evaluation in real time of an energetic condition that allows the creation of a communal space, a complex and articulated place where conditions of cohabitation are established.”

DROP is the young company of DNA Dance Company and ‘heart’ of AlmaPRO, centre for professional training in contemporary dance in Bologna led by dancer and choreographer Elisa Pagani, founder of DNA company.
DROP yearly welcomes talented young dancers - graduated from national and international prestigious academies - in order to give them the opportunity to undertake and live a professional experience in all its aspects, from the creative processes to the national and international tour.
Every year the dancers work with renowned guest choreographers to create a diverse, appealing, and vivid triple bill to be presented on tour: the triple bill for the 2021 tour features Elisa Pagani, Simona Bertozzi and Biagio Caravano.
