Fragile is a brand new installation commissioned by ARTECHOUSE Washington DC for the exhibition Life of a Neuron, created in collaboration with the Society for Neuroscience.
The exhibition brings artists and scientists together for a groundbreaking collaboration to explore how the brain shapes the shared human experience. Through collaboration with the Society for Neuroscience and the world’s leading scientists and creatives, this immersive exhibit allows to experience a neuron—from pre-birth to death—providing an experiential view of life at a cellular a cellular level.

Life of a Neuron features installations by multidisciplinary artists from around the globe including Synthestruct, Akiko Yamashita, fuse*, Gil Castro, Maurice Benayoun, Alvaro Cassinelli, and Server Demirtas.

The work by fuse*, Fragile, investigates the relationship between stressful human experience and the transformations occurring in our brain.
