Icarus vs Muzak celebrates Salvatore Sciarrino's 75th anniversary. On the occasion, the GAIDA Festival of Vilnius – the most important and largest festival of contemporary music in Lithuania – has commissioned him a new work, Paesaggi con macerie (landscapes with ruins), inspired by recent history, with the support of the Siemens foundation.
The world premiere is in this monographic concert in presence of the Maestro, “Guest Composer” of the GAIDA 2022. The programme includes other works by Sciarrino from different ages, that are performed in Lithuania for the first time.
