From February 17th to February 25th, ErosAntEros is in residency at TNL – Théâtre National du Luxembourg. Here ErosAntEros will work with the Luxembourg theater team, in particular the dramaturg Florian Hirsch, and the Komposter collective: a Berlin based creative studio led by Akaša Bojić and Luka Umek. The collective mostly works in the wide field of motion design, stage performance, and intermedia art.
The residency is part of the project 'Work in the age of capitalism', winner of the Boarding Pass Plus call issued by the Ministry of Culture. The project “Work in the age of capitalism” aims to internationalize the creative processes of ErosAntEros and the other partners involved through a path of research and creation that will be developed from January to May 2024 in three different European countries, involving the collaboration of three major international theatre institutions: ERT – Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione, Slovensko mladinsko gledališče, Théâtre National du Luxembourg – TNL.
The theme at the center of the project is capitalism and the financial system generated by it within the world in which we live, with a focus on the sphere of labor and the exploitation of planetary resources. This will act as a driving force for comparing the heterogeneous experiences of the artists, related to the different cultural contexts of their countries of origin, to their different age and professional experience, as well as to the various artistic disciplines used: dramaturgy, acting, music, video. An international project to investigate a theme that, in the age of globalization, concerns us all.
