To Be Creative - Humanity in Progress is a performative action designed for places of culture and art, which is drawn around architectures and spaces. A new and ever-changing creative dimension and a new experience of fruition for the viewer, both of the choreographic work and the space that hosts it.
A journey – physical and metaphorical – among the nuances of being "human," a process of discovery of what moves our deepest emotions. An original concept that reinvents and transforms choreography and sound suggestions to become one with the surrounding context.
To Be Creative - Humanity in Progress focuses mainly on music related to melodrama, now more than ever a hallmark of Italian creativity in the world, thanks to the designation of opera singing as a UNESCO intangible heritage. Accompanying Monica Casadei's choreography are excerpts from operas such as Traviata, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Madama Butterfly and Turandot, and musical elaborations with a contemporary slant composed by Fabio Fiandrini and Luca Vianini.

To Be Creative is included in the IN SITU – TUNISI” program, which led the Italian Embassy in Tunis to be awarded the prestigious title of ‘Capital of Italian Creativity in the World’ / Festival of Italian Creativity, 2024 edition.
