Conventions/Seminars/Meetings
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the film Red Desert, Antonioni's first color film, this international conference aims to examine the director's work from the sensitive point of view – central concept of his cinema.
Exploring the aesthetic, philosophical and narrative dimensions of his films, the event will highlight the way in which Antonioni articulates perceptions, emotions and transformations of bodies and spaces in a constantly changing world. The conference brings together scholars from different disciplines to offer new perspectives on Antonioni's filmography.
