Dall’evento attesissimo dell’estate Senigalliese da ben ventitré anni, il Summer Jamboree, Festival internazionale di musica e cultura dell’America anni Quaranta e Cinquanta più grande al mondo, che ha anche una versione “on the Lake” sul lago di Lugano, non si ferma e sbarca a Parma con un nuovo colossale format che trasformerà il periodo prenatalizio in un momento davvero indimenticabile, realizzato in collaborazione con Fiere di Parma, Comune di Parma e Regione Emilia-Romagna. Dal 7 al 10 dicembre 2023, infatti, gli spazi delle Fiere di Parma ospiteranno il Winter Jamboree Christmas edition #1: tre padiglioni dove prenderanno vita tutti quegli ingredienti che fanno di questo festival un unicum mondiale nel suo genere. Un ricercato vintage market e tanto Rock’n’Roll, il tutto in una versione mai vista prima, quella natalizia. Tra gli elementi cardine del festival ci sarà infatti il Rockin’ Christmas Vintage market dove, dalla mattina fino a sera, sarà possibile fare rifornimento di regali in vista delle feste e acquistare oggettistica, accessori per la casa, abbigliamento, memorabilia e tanti prodotti enogastronomici di Parma, Città Creativa Unesco per la gastronomia e capitale della Food Valley riconosciuta a livello mondiale. Un vero e proprio mercatino di Natale vintage, accompagnato da un sottofondo di musica Rock’n’Roll, Swing, Country, Rockabilly, Rhythm'n'Blues, Hillbilly, Doo-wop, Western swing e i grandi classici dei Natali di una volta. Forse non tutti sanno infatti che le più grandi hit natalizie, diventate negli anni dei pezzi cult a livello internazionale, sono state create e incise proprio in quegli anni, rimanendo ancora oggi attuali e amate da tutte le generazioni. Grandi concerti dal vivo al Pala Verdi con artisti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, DJs set ed esibizioni di ballo, Dance Camp internazionale per chi desidera imparare a muoversi a ritmo di Rock’n’Roll. E poi ancora il Burlesque Show all’interno del quartiere fieristico e una Tattoo Convention con i migliori tatuatori old school che lavoreranno non stop. Per rifocillarsi tra una canzone e un ballo saranno allestiti tanti food track in stile, insieme a tante delizie del territorio.

There is just no stopping the Summer Jamboree; International Festival of 40s and 50s American Music and Culture. The most anticipated event of the Summer in Senigallia for 23 years, that has also hosted two editions “on the Lake” of Lugano in Switzerland gets ready to take Rock’n’Roll to Parma with a new colossal format that will turn the run up to Christmas into an unforgettable festive extravaganza, in collaboration with Fiere di Parma, the Municipality of Parma and the Emilia-Romagna Region. Indeed from 7 to 10 December 2023 the Fiere di Parma will host the Winter Jamboree Christmas edition #1: three enormous pavilions will come to life with all of the special ingredients that make this festival so unique. A select vintage market and a whole lotta Rock’n’Roll, all in one never-before-seen Christmas edition! Indeed, one of the chief components of the festival will be the Rockin’ Christmas Vintage market where from morning to night it will be possible to Christmas shop till you drop; stock up on gifts, memorabilia, accessories for the home, clothing, and of course, food and wine products from Parma, the Unesco Creative City for gastronomy and recognised worldwide capital of the Food Valley. A real vintage Christmas market, complete with a vintage musical soundtrack of Rock’n’Roll, Swing, Country, Rockabilly, Rhythm'n'Blues, Hillbilly, Doo-wop, Western Swing and of course the great Christmas Classics of yesteryear… perhaps not everyone knows that the biggest Christmas hits of all time were written and recorded in that period. Those cult classics that are known and loved by all, all around the world, just as much today as when they were first heard on the radio many moons ago. There will be great live concerts at the Pala Verdi with artists from all over the world, DJ sets and dance performances, an international Dance Camp for those who want to learn how to move to the rhythm of Rock'n'Roll, a Burlesque Show inside the fairground, and a Tattoo Convention with the best old school tattoo artists who will work non-stop around the clock. And to refresh yourself between a song and a dance, there will be array of select food trucks offering local delicacies and delights to sate every desire.
